A dark man living in the little girls bedroom, an old woman in the kitchen, and unexplained noises from the basement.
The little girl woke up crying and trying to take down a cross from the wall which was only placed there earlier in the day. The little girl woke at around 3am because her night light was unexplainably turned off.
Unexplainable noises and shadow sightings.
Homeowner was in the living room one evening when both her and the person on the phone heard a loud bang. The homeowner explained that it sounded as if boxes had fallen in her basement but upon investigation, nothing was disturbed in the basement.
Investigation
Digital Voice Recorders were set up in the child's room, kitchen, and the basement. The IR Nightvision Cameras were set up in the child's bedroom and the basement facing into the laundry room.

* Baseline EMF was extremely high when placed close to any of the portable heaters and averaged 98.8 in the kitchen.
Weather Conditions
Temp: 27.9 Degrees
Wind: Calm 0mph
Sky: Cloudy
During the night no EVP's were recorded and there were no anomalies on the videos. Only one unexplainable event occurred between 0300 and 0330 Hours. This was later explained away as non-paranormal at a second investigation.
HIGH EMF:
During the investigation it was noted that the kitchen was giving off higher than normal EMF. With the little girls bedroom directly on the other side of the kitchen, it was concluded that this high EMF was most likely the cause of the problems. A few things were suggested to the homeowners like rubber matting behind the fridge, pull the fridge away from the wall so it is not directly up against the wall, replace the microwave, and move the daughter to the play room for her bedroom. The walls of this home are very thin and sounds from outside can be deceiving and sound as if they are coming from somewhere else, while sounds from inside carry outside very well.
During the return investigation, it was noted that the EMF in the kitchen was still very high but not as bad as before and the daughter was now sleeping comfortably in the new bedroom with no ill side effects of seeing people.

This investigation was very interesting and a definite test to find the natural causes to many of the reported events.
